Dundee Preview

Dundee v Ross County
Irn-Bru Division One
Sat. 25th February - 3.00pm
Dens Park, Dundee

Ross County head to Dens Park this weekend for the latest round of league games - in what is set to be the big game of the SFL this weekend with County sitting two points clear of Falkirk at the top of the First Division, host Dundee sitting just a further three points behind.

Both County and Dundee have seen a lot of their games in end in draws recently, and reports of Dundee games suggest they have faced similar problems to County in that they have faced teams that have been very defensive and seem happy to settle for a draw before a ball is kick, while like County Dundee reportedly pass the ball around well.  So this weekends game has all the ingredients of being a cracker.

Ross County go into this game with only one injury, that being to Marc Fitzpatrick.  Stuart Kettlewell is expected to return to the starting line up after a few weeks out with a groin strain.  It is also expected that the starting line-up will return to one more familiar to one we seen prior to the St. Mirren cup match.

Dundee also only have one injury, with Nicky Riley who is out with a hamstring problem.
Defender Rhys Weston is expected to feature for the home team, despite suffering a broken nose against Queen of the South last weekend, which was also knocked again in their mid-week fixture against Falkirk.

This will be the 27th fixture between the two teams.  Dundee have the upper hand in terms of wins, with ten wins to County's seven.  The other nine games ending in draws.  However so far this season County hold the upper hand after winning the first game 2-1 at Dens Park, although the return fixture in Dingwall ended with a 1-1 draw.
