Raith Rovers Match Preview

Ross county v Raith Rovers
Irn-Bru Division One
Victoria Park, Dingwall
Saturday 31st March - 3.00pm

March has been a good month for Ross County so far, with the team picking up 16 of the 18 points that were available.  But they have one more game before the end of the month, and a further three points would be the perfect way to finish the month.

Raith Rovers will be the visitors to Victoria Park for this game.  The Rovers currently occupy the relegation play-off spot in the first divsion, so will be out fighting for every point they can get.

This time last season (22nd March 2011) the two teams met.  At that point Raith were top of the league, and County were occupying ninth spot - So it's roles reversal one year on !
That game last year, ended in a 1-1 draw, so proof to show that regardless of your position in the First Division, - regarded by many as the most competitive league in Britain- that every team pose a threat.

Ross County will have to do without forward Colin McMenamin for this match due to him serving a one match suspension.  However other than this manager Derek Adams has a full squad to chose from.

Raith will also have to do without one of their main strikers - John Baird - who is also serving a one match suspension.
